This is a semi-private offering and has space for just 4 students who are postpartum starting as early as 6 weeks and up until years after birth. Please ensure you are cleared by your midwife or ob before taking this series.
Pregnancy and birth are intense and intimate events. It is important to nurture yourself after and ease into movement in a way that feels safe and educational. The first step is education and awareness, once we understand the anatomy and what’s going on, then we can train. The Pilates Method specifically works to re-educate the core and pelvic floor, restore the natural curves and mobility of your spine, and empower overall posture and stability.
Inflammation, diastases recti, prolapse, incontinence, instability and pain are all common and can occur postpartum that can affect overall function and comfort in your body. While these things are common, they are not permanent and we can work to slowly shift, heal and restore.
This series will include many breathing techniques, anatomy principles, deep core, spinal sequencing, and other exercises that balance the flow of your body, mind and spirit.
Due to the small size of this class, expect to receive lots of personalized attention and care. Sign up here and note you must sign up for entire series.
