Self worth

You made it. You chose yourself, invested in yourself & took a powerful step in the direction you want to go. This section is all about self worth & how to practice it daily.

By the end of this section you will have created a self worth practice that sets clear intentions, builds sustainable rituals, and holds you accountable day in day out to You. This practice teaches you that you are worthy of whatever it is that you want, and you can have it, and by protecting & clearing your energy, you are embodying your worthiness.

What is self worth?

Self worth is knowing that you don’t need to “do” a single thing to earn love, respect & abundance. Period. And in order for you to fully allow, receive & work towards what it is that you most want in life, you must believe & know that you are worthy to receive it.

When we don’t believe & act like you are worthy, we are sending mixed signals to yourself, your potential & power. Imagine this: you want to go on a walk to the park, it’s a long walk, it’ll be a challenge. You talk shit to yourself, bully & doubt yourself. Something inside you believes that you can’t or shouldn’t do it. You tell yourself that you “have to” go so you can justify your existence or something you want to eat later. You tell yourself that you will love yourself more if you go on said walk. Do you make it to the park or not? If you do, how enjoyable was the process? You deserve to go to the freaking park if you really want to go to the freaking park. Why do we put ourselves through this suffering?

All the world needs is for you to be more fully you, and do you. There is absolutely no one like you. This self worth practice teaches us that we are worthy of what we want without justifying or accomplishing anything else.

Time to write.

  • what does it look & feel like if you were fully you?

  • where are you, what are you doing, what are you wearing or eating, who are you surrounding yourself with?

  • what makes you feel safe? what makes you feel unsafe?

  • what does your worth (I also referred to this as your power, intuition, gut, or knowing) have to say to you? what does she need from you?

  • what color do you radiate?

  • what makes you feel "worth it"?

  • who are you when you are not suffering?

  • what if it didn't have to be so hard?

  • what are 3 areas in your life where you can take up more space?

  • what are 3 things that you are ready to let go of? this might be habits that arent serving you or thoughts of other people that are influencing you.

  • what is the result of you being in your power? how does this pour up & out into your life? the world?

Your Self Worth Practice.

Starting now, your self worth work needs to be prioritized every single day. Before you do anything - go to work, look at your inboxes or calendar, connect with your partner.

First, let’s understand the difference between self care & self worth.

Self care is the first few steps of this healing journey that you are probably already very good at. We go for a nap, we get our hair done, we treat ourselves, we light a candle and breathe. Self care teaches us that it feels good to feel good.

Self worth are the next steps that deepen self care. Self worth teaches you about your power. What it means to be fully you & that you deserve to feel good, not just okay-good or sometimes good. Self worth isn’t just treating ourselves here and there. Self worth is knowing day in, day out that you deserve what it is that you want, and you can have it.

We are going to begin a daily ritual for your self worth practice. A personal daily practice where you connect to the part of yourself that knows you can do this, that knows you are worth it & that knows you are meant for more.

When we step into our lives KNOWING our worth, we have clarity, confidence, power, peace, abundance. We don’t second guess, we know the answers, we are present, we take risks. We are fully us and we can better participate & connect with our world.

This step is what sets you apart from people who quit or people settle for less.

Examples of self worth rituals:

  • set phone to Do Not Disturb or airplane mode so the first moment you wake up is not seeing a notification from someone else.

  • before you get out of bed, take a moment to breathe into your body. What is it that you want from today? What is your purpose or intention?

  • move - put on music or go outside. dance, walk, bounce, stretch, wiggle around, do a few roll ups. What does it feel like to be in your body? Think of all the things you want & reasons you are proud of yourself.

  • listen to a meditation or Abraham Hicks or sounds of nature.

  • eye gaze & affirmations in the mirror. I’m serious, it works. Check in with your power, your fear, your old stories. Give them a squeeze. Say Hello.

  • Journal. Get it out of your head & onto paper.

  • weave intention into your morning rituals - brushing your teeth, washing your face, making your beverage, a special good morning hug to your pet.

Now it’s time to create your own! Keep it simple.
